Human Life Foundation established its first Shri Ram Vihar Learning Centre at Shri Ram Vihar, Rana Sanga Marg, Jagatpura, Jaipur, with the vision of providing free and quality education to children from economically weaker sections, particularly those living in nearby slum communities. The initiative aimed to ensure that every child, regardless of socio-economic background, had access to education, academic support, and opportunities for holistic development. The Learning Centre became the foundation of the Foundation’s long-term mission to empower underprivileged children through education, life skills, and community engagement.
The Shri Ram Vihar Learning Centre began providing free primary and foundational education to children who had never attended school or required remedial academic support. Dedicated teachers and volunteers worked closely with students to strengthen their literacy, numeracy, and overall learning abilities while creating a safe and supportive educational environment.
The Foundation actively assisted children in securing admissions to government and affordable private schools, ensuring that they could continue their formal education. In addition to classroom instruction, the Learning Centre offered daily homework assistance, academic coaching, and personalized mentoring sessions to improve study habits, confidence, discipline, and personality development.
Recognizing the importance of holistic education, Human Life Foundation organized skill development workshops covering communication skills, leadership, critical thinking, problem-solving, and essential life skills. The Foundation also identified deserving students for scholarship opportunities, helping talented children continue their education without financial barriers.
To strengthen the partnership between families and educators, the Learning Centre regularly conducted parent meetings and educational awareness sessions, encouraging active parental involvement in children’s academic progress and emphasizing the importance of education in breaking the cycle of poverty.
The establishment of the Shri Ram Vihar Learning Centre significantly improved access to quality education for children from marginalized communities. The initiative increased school enrolment and retention, strengthened students’ academic performance, enhanced confidence and life skills, and supported their overall personality development.
