On 4th January 2026, Human Life Foundation organized a powerful Nasha Mukti Abhiyaan (Substance Abuse Awareness Drive) for slum students and local residents in Pratap Nagar, Jaipur, with the aim of spreading awareness about the harmful effects of drugs, tobacco, alcohol, and other addictive substances. Students from LNMIIT Jaipur, under the guidance of Professor Amit Nyogi, visited the slum area in association with Human Life Foundation and Mr. Hemraj Chaturvedi. The team conducted awareness sessions, raised impactful slogans such as “Say No to Drugs”, and organized rallies across the slum locality to engage the community and amplify the message against substance abuse. During the programme, Professor Amit Nyogi addressed the gathering and inspired children and families to focus on education, self-discipline, and positive life choices as the true path toward personal growth and societal betterment.
A unique and heartening outcome of the drive was the active participation of slum children, who carried the message back to their homes. The children spoke to their parents and relatives about the ill effects of drugs, tobacco, cigarettes, alcohol, and other substances, motivating them to quit addictions and adopt healthier lifestyles. The awareness drive emphasized how substance abuse often leads to domestic violence, health complications, financial distress, and social instability.
