07.11.2025 – The opening of our new branch in the Mahal Scheme, Jagatpura, will provide greater access to education for children who currently lack learning opportunities. A total of 65 children have already enrolled in this centre. Most of them belong to the Dholi community and have migrated from remote areas of Rajasthan. Their families live in extremely challenging conditions, often under the open sky in makeshift tent-like shelters.

Many parents earn a very small income by playing the dhol or through daily-wage labour. Because of their nomadic lifestyle, their children often remain out of school and are unable to attend regular classes. Some families are also engaged in waste collection, and their children help by picking plastics and other recyclable materials to earn a small amount of money.

Now, these children have been registered at our free education centre, where they receive basic literacy, midday meals for better nutrition and health, and a safe environment to learn and grow. Once they achieve foundational literacy, we aim to transition them into formal schooling, either in government schools or in private schools under the RTE Act.

Mr. Atishaya and Mrs. Mini Jain, along with many volunteers, witnessed the opening ceremony and helped distribute food to our children on Mrs. Mini Jain’s birthday.
